OnePlus Nord CE6 goes on sale with 144Hz screen and 8,000mAh battery
The Nord CE6 is now on open sale in India, offering a 144Hz AMOLED display, 144FPS gaming support and a huge battery at a mid-range price.
OnePlus has started open sales for the Nord CE6 in India, and the phone has several specs that matter to mobile gamers. The device uses a Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chipset, a 6.78-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate, support for 144FPS gaming, an 8,000mAh battery and 80W SUPERVOOC charging. It is not a dedicated gaming phone in the RedMagic or ROG sense, but it shows where the mainstream Android market is going.
Big batteries, high refresh screens and gaming-focused frame-rate marketing are no longer only for expensive enthusiast devices. The key will be sustained performance. A 144Hz screen is great, but mobile gamers care just as much about heat, frame stability and whether the chipset can hold performance after 20 or 30 minutes of play.
