JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Golden Spirit opens Western closed beta sign-ups

JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Golden Spirit is taking its first serious step toward a Western release. Closed beta test sign-ups are now open for Android users in the United States, United Kingdom, Canada and France, with the testing period scheduled from 15 May to 29 May. The iOS version is planned for the future, but this first English and French test is focused on Google Play.

For JoJo fans, the important detail is that Golden Spirit is positioned as a free-to-play mobile RPG from KLab Games and Wanda Cinemas Games, with characters from Parts 1 to 6 of the anime series. That makes it a big licensed mobile project rather than a small companion app. The beta will be limited, but participants are expected to receive in-game rewards when the full game launches.

If the combat, presentation and character collection systems land well, Golden Spirit could become one of the more notable anime mobile releases heading into late 2026.
