Jackbox Party Pack 12 keeps phones at the center of party play
Jackbox Games has revealed Party Pack 12, and the series is again leaning on phones, tablets and browsers as the heart of its party-game setup.
Jackbox Party Pack 12 is officially on the way, and while it is not a traditional mobile game in the App Store sense, phones remain central to how Jackbox works. The new pack launches later this year with five party games, including titles built around acting, sound effects, social deduction, drawing and joke writing. As usual, players use smartphones, tablets or computer browsers as controllers, which is why Jackbox continues to matter for mobile coverage.
It turns the phone into the input device for couch multiplayer without forcing everyone to download separate apps or sync controllers. Official platform plans include PC storefronts, Switch and Switch 2, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, iPad and Mac App Store. For mobile players, the key point is simple: Jackbox still understands that the easiest controller is already in your pocket.
