Pixel 11’s Tensor G6 leak sounds better for AI than for mobile gamers

New Tensor G6 reporting points to stronger CPU and AI capability, but the rumored GPU setup may still trail Snapdragon and Dimensity gaming phones.

Pixel 11’s Tensor G6 leak sounds better for AI than for mobile gamers

Google’s Pixel 11 could get a real CPU upgrade, but mobile gamers may still want to keep expectations under control. New Tensor G6 reporting suggests Google is moving to modern Arm C1 CPU cores, including a high-clocked C1-Ultra core, which could make daily performance and AI-heavy tasks feel much better than Tensor G5. The less exciting part is graphics.

The reported PowerVR CXTP GPU direction looks more focused on efficiency than raw gaming power, and analysis suggests the Pixel 11 may still lag behind 2026 flagship gaming phones built around Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, Dimensity 9500 or stronger GPU-focused silicon. That does not make the Pixel 11 a bad phone. It just means Google’s priorities remain AI, imaging, modem improvements and system-level intelligence rather than winning every frame-rate chart. For players who mainly play casual titles, that is fine.

For heavy Genshin, Wuthering Waves or emulator users, Snapdragon gaming phones will likely remain safer bets.
