Lenovo’s Legion Y70 is looking more real by the day. The upcoming 2026 gaming phone has now surfaced in Geekbench-linked reporting under the XT2611 model number, pointing to Snapdragon 8 Gen 5, 16GB of RAM and Android 16. Earlier details already suggested a 6.8-inch 2K OLED display, 144Hz refresh rate, 8,000mAh battery, 90W fast charging and a large vapor-chamber cooling setup.

That combination is exactly what a modern gaming phone needs: sustained speed, a fast screen, huge battery capacity and enough cooling to stop performance falling apart after 20 minutes. Lenovo is expected to unveil the phone in China on 19 May, so this is still pre-launch information rather than a retail verdict. But the direction is clear. Lenovo wants the Legion brand back in the phone-gaming conversation, and the Y70 looks built for players who care more about frame stability than camera theatre.
