KRAFTON quietly soft-launches Cricket All Stars on Android in India
Cricket All Stars is now available in India on Android, bringing licensed teams, 60FPS gameplay, multiple modes and real-time multiplayer.
KRAFTON has quietly stepped back onto the cricket pitch with Cricket All Stars, a new Android soft launch in India. The game features licensed team elements from Kolkata Knight Riders and Lucknow Super Giants, player likenesses, 60FPS gameplay and a mix of modes including Quick Match, Friendly Match, Test Match, Indian Pro T20 League, World Cup and real-time multiplayer. That is a broad feature list for a soft launch, and it shows KRAFTON is not treating cricket as a tiny side experiment.
India is one of the world’s most important mobile gaming markets, and cricket has the cultural gravity to support a serious sports game if the controls, batting feel and progression systems work. The key question is whether Cricket All Stars can avoid feeling like a shallow licensed product. If the multiplayer and team-building loop are strong, KRAFTON may have a useful second sports pillar beyond its battle royale identity.
