Veroplay acquires Moving Eye Games and the Swamp Attack franchise

The Swamp Attack franchise has a new home. NCSoft subsidiary Veroplay Limited has acquired Moving Eye Games and its long-running Swamp Attack franchise, with financial terms not disclosed. The deal matters because Swamp Attack is one of those older mobile franchises that quietly reached huge scale without always being at the centre of industry discussion. Moving Eye’s CEO described the acquisition as a major milestone after more than a decade of building the studio and its games, and PocketGamer.

biz reports the Swamp Attack titles have reached hundreds of millions of players. For Veroplay and NCSoft, this gives them a recognisable casual-action mobile IP with proven reach.
