Forza Horizon 6 gets Steam Deck Verified before early access
Microsoft and Playground Games have confirmed Steam Deck Verified status for Forza Horizon 6 before the game’s early access launch window.
Forza Horizon 6 has picked up an important handheld-friendly badge before release: Steam Deck Verified. That means Valve’s handheld should be able to run the game with the expected control, display and compatibility standards, which is a big deal for a modern open-world racer. Handheld PC players have become much more demanding since the first Steam Deck wave.
They do not just want a game to boot; they want readable UI, stable performance, sensible battery expectations and controller layouts that work without wrestling the settings menu for an hour. The game is also expected to support Play Anywhere and handheld-friendly PC devices such as the ROG Xbox Ally line. Storage could be the bigger headache, with preload size reported around 156GB. For portable players, Steam Deck Verified is still the cleanest signal that Forza Horizon 6 is taking handheld play seriously.
