Dragon Ball Gekishin Squadra Season 5 adds Frieza, battle pass changes and Twitch Drops

Dragon Ball Gekishin Squadra has kicked off Season 5 with a chunky update that should matter to both casual players and the game’s competitive community. Frieza Fourth Form joins as a Technical character built around limiting enemy movement with walls, which sounds perfect for players who like control and disruption rather than pure brawling. The patch also adjusts battle pass progression, adds mission improvements, introduces custom battle spectator support and makes several balance and usability changes.

On top of that, a Twitch Drops campaign runs from 13 May to 10 June with exclusive skins, icons and in-game rewards. The important thing here is that Gekishin Squadra is not just adding a famous character and calling it a season. Spectator support and progression changes suggest Bandai Namco is still shaping the game around longer-term play, events and community viewing.
