Honkai: Star Rail Version 4.2 Phase 2 goes live with Evanescia and major reruns

Honkai: Star Rail players have a new banner cycle to plan around. Version 4.2 Phase 2 is now live across all servers, bringing Evanescia as the new 5-star Physical Elation character alongside reruns for Tribbie, Sunday and Feixiao. The banner window runs until 1 June, giving mobile players a few weeks to decide whether to chase the new character or save for whatever comes next. This is where HoYoverse’s gacha rhythm gets dangerous in the usual way.

Phase 2 arrives right after the big anniversary update, so many players may already be light on resources. The smart move is to test character utility, check team fit and avoid pulling just because the patch cycle feels shiny. For regular mobile players, this is a resource-management story as much as a character story.
