MINI METRO
Relaxing until it isn't.
Score: 77%
Mini Metro starts as a calm, minimalist puzzle about drawing train lines, then slowly transforms into a panic simulator where circles and squares are your mortal enemies. The presentation is clean and elegant, the sound is subtle, and the gameplay is deceptively deep: you’re constantly optimizing routes, managing bottlenecks, and deciding which station deserves your last upgrade like a transit god with limited patience.
It’s brilliant on mobile because it’s touch-friendly and easy to dip into—until you realize you’ve been staring at passenger queues for 40 minutes like it’s a real commute. Pure “simple to learn, hard to master” energy.
