JIGSAW PUZZLE: BELGIUM (Android)
Tourism brochure meets jigsaw therapy… occasionally interrupted by an ad doing karate in your zen.
Score: 76%
Jigsaw Puzzle: Belgium is basically a chill photo-tour of Belgium disguised as a “just one puzzle before bed” app—aka the most dangerous lie since “I’ll only watch one episode.” The hook is simple and wholesome: Belgian photographer Nano supplies a bunch of scenic photos, and you (plus a canine sidekick named Gizmo) “explore” Belgium by turning those shots into puzzles. It’s family-friendly, it’s calming, and it’s the only travel experience where your biggest risk is losing a corner piece and blaming your thumbs.
Visually, the screenshots suggest bright, crisp photography-style puzzles (nature, architecture, animals, objects), which is exactly what you want from this genre: “pretty things to stare at while your brain quietly reorganizes itself.” The music angle is cute too—soundtrack credit goes to “the Yoga Master,” which feels like the game is politely asking you to breathe out and stop doomscrolling for five minutes.
Gameplay is classic jigsaw: relaxing, straightforward, and best enjoyed when you want low-stress progress with a side of “aha!” moments. The big win is the difficulty range—from tiny 4-piece puzzles to “hundreds of pieces, good luck, hero,” so it works for kids, casual puzzlers, and completionists who think patience is a competitive sport.
The only real vibe-check: it contains ads, which can occasionally drop a loud commercial into your peaceful Belgium daydream like a pigeon landing on your waffle.
