Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris enters its first full day on iOS and Android after launching on September 8. Feral Interactive has preserved the core console experience, including isometric exploration, twin-stick shooting, environmental puzzles and four-player cooperative play. The mobile version uses customizable touchscreen controls while also supporting controllers, keyboard and mouse.
Rather than charging before download, Feral has adopted a try-before-you-buy model: the entire first level can be played free, after which a single $9.99 purchase unlocks the complete campaign and additional content. That structure offers an interesting alternative to both premium upfront pricing and conventional free-to-play monetisation. Temple of Osiris originally launched on consoles and PC in 2014, but its relatively compact environments and isometric perspective translate naturally to modern phones.
The release strengthens an increasingly credible catalogue of full-scale older games on mobile, particularly for users who pair flagship smartphones or tablets with physical controllers.
