Android 17 is turning foldables into mini clamshell gaming machines, letting the lower half act like a touch controller while the game runs above. Add native controller remapping and better multitasking, and Android gaming suddenly looks less like ‘phone with thumbs’ and more like ‘strange little handheld from the future.’ Just maybe do not rage-tap a soft foldable screen into retirement.
