Honkai Star Rail Version 4.7 Brings Playable Aeon Aha and Cosmic Finale on November 11

HoYoverse has confirmed that Honkai: Star Rail Version 4.7, titled Now, Lay Laughter to All Stars, will launch on November 11 following its October 30 special presentation. The update brings the Planarcadia storyline toward a dramatic conclusion as the universe faces an ancient threat known as the Voracity. One of the biggest announcements concerns Aeon Aha, who will become a limited five-star character associated with the Path of Elation.

Aha introduces unusual combat mechanics that strengthen Elation-focused teams, accumulate Wishpower and allow attacks to reduce enemies' maximum health. The update also introduces the Affinitive Eidolon progression system, giving selected existing characters additional abilities. Acheron, Dan Heng Imbibitor Lunae and Jing Yuan are among the first characters benefiting from the new system. Returning recruitment banners will feature familiar five-star characters across the update's two phases.

Beyond combat, HoYoverse is introducing a dessert-shop management event, additional challenges and a second season of Currency Wars. Another event offers opportunities to obtain a special outfit for Aha. The release demonstrates how Honkai: Star Rail continues expanding its mechanics alongside its increasingly elaborate storytelling.

However, the developer's official presentation does not confirm the free five-star character selector previously mentioned in some reports, so that reward should not be treated as established. Apparently the universe is in such serious trouble that even a cosmic god of laughter has decided to join the recruitment system.
