Android 17 foldable gaming mode stays in focus
Android 17 introduces foldable-focused gaming controls, letting the lower half of a foldable act like a gamepad-style control surface.
Android 17 keeps looking very interesting for mobile gaming, especially on foldables. The new gaming layout can turn the lower half of a foldable screen into a controller-style area while the top half runs the game. It is basically a Nintendo DS fever dream with Android polish, though durability remains the scary little goblin in the room.
