Call of Duty: Mobile Season 8 settles into its Honkai Impact 3rd crossover

Call of Duty: Mobile Season 8, Against All Fate, is now fully underway after launching September 9 at 5PM Pacific. The season's biggest attraction is its collaboration with Honkai Impact 3rd, which extends beyond cosmetic skins into themed story quests, a collection system, character encyclopedia, dormitory lobby and a completely different style of gameplay.

The new three-player top-down roguelike shooter mode sends teams against waves of monsters across several maps, with randomised upgrades, Stigmata, Chips and Weapon Traits creating different builds every run. Season 8 also introduces the ISO Hemlock assault rifle and Static-HV SMG while offering the game's first Mythic Weapons Series Armory with three Mythic weapons.

Call of Duty: Mobile has gradually evolved from a straightforward portable shooter into a broader live-service platform capable of hosting modes that barely resemble traditional Call of Duty. The Honkai collaboration is the clearest example yet.
