BanG Dream! Our Notes locks in September 24 worldwide release

Bilibili is preparing to launch BanG Dream! Our Notes globally on September 24, expanding one of mobile rhythm gaming's best-known multimedia franchises. The release brings a new rhythm-focused experience and additional character stories to smartphones, with music once again functioning as both the gameplay foundation and the wider franchise's connective tissue.

Rhythm games are particularly well suited to touchscreens because tapping and swiping directly on the display can feel more natural than adapting movement-heavy console controls. Their live-service structure also provides an almost unlimited pipeline of songs, events and collectible content. The challenge is differentiation: the mobile rhythm category is mature, and fans already have established libraries and favourite characters across several long-running games.

A worldwide release gives Our Notes a larger addressable audience from day one, but also means server infrastructure, localisation and event scheduling must work across multiple regions simultaneously. September 24 will show whether Bilibili can convert the recognition of BanG Dream into another durable global mobile community.
