Petit Planet locks in winter 2026 cross-platform launch window

HoYoverse's Petit Planet is heading toward a global winter 2026 release on iOS, Android and PC. The publisher's first cosy galactic life simulation moves away from the combat-heavy structure associated with Genshin Impact and Honkai by focusing on fishing, farming, seasonal changes, exploration and social interaction. Players can travel through the Starsea, meet Neighbors and visit the Galactic Bazaar while gradually developing their own small world.

Pre-registration is already open, positioning the game as another major cross-platform launch rather than a smartphone side project. HoYoverse's account infrastructure gives it an obvious advantage here: users accustomed to moving between PC and phone in the company's existing games can expect a similar pattern. Petit Planet also reflects the continued expansion of cosy games beyond traditional consoles and PC.

Smartphones are particularly compatible with life simulations built around short daily interactions, provided the progression systems avoid turning routine activities into excessive chores.
