Architect: Land of Exiles launches globally on mobile and PC

Architect: Land of Exiles reaches its worldwide launch date today, September 16, opening shared global servers across iOS, Android and PC. Published by DRIMAGE and developed by Aqua Tree, the free-to-play MMORPG is built in Unreal Engine 5 and centres its world around the Tower of Titans. Players can climb, swim and glide through the environment rather than simply travelling between conventional MMO quest hubs.

Launch content includes party dungeons, survival encounters, giant boss raids and guild activities, while the announced post-launch roadmap includes a Dual Class system, Abnormal Surge PvPvE and server-wide territory battles. Cross-platform availability is particularly important because technically ambitious Korean MMOs increasingly treat smartphones and PCs as two access points to the same service rather than producing a reduced mobile edition.

The immediate tests will be server stability, performance on mid-range Android hardware and whether its open-world traversal gives Architect enough identity in an exceptionally crowded mobile MMORPG category.
