Aniimo launches on PC and consoles as its mobile countdown reaches one week

Pawprint Studio's Aniimo launches today on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, putting the free-to-play creature-catching RPG into live operation exactly one week before its iOS and Android debut on September 23. That makes today's launch highly relevant to prospective mobile players: the servers, economy, combat balance and wider cross-platform infrastructure are now being tested by the public before phones join the ecosystem.

Aniimo features more than 200 creatures and differentiates itself through Twining, which lets players merge with collected Aniimo and directly use their abilities for exploration, puzzles and combat. Multiplayer includes cooperative activities and PvP, while Homeland customisation adds a more relaxed progression layer. Pre-registration for mobile remains open and has already passed major reward thresholds.

A staggered release could prove advantageous by giving Pawprint Studio seven days to identify launch problems before adding potentially millions of smartphone users. Mobile remains scheduled for September 23 rather than today, despite some older listings incorrectly suggesting a simultaneous launch.
