Pufflings: Journey Through a Fantasy World Becomes Playable at TGS

Level-5's upcoming mobile game Pufflings: Journey Through a Fantasy World is getting valuable hands-on exposure during Tokyo Game Show 2026. The iOS and Android title is playable through the NHN Japan booth and also appears in Level-5's video showcase. Pufflings is one of several smartphone projects Level-5 is presenting during the show, demonstrating that the Japanese publisher continues to see mobile as an important complement to its console business.

The TGS demonstration should provide players with a much clearer understanding of how the game's colourful fantasy setting and character-focused presentation translate into moment-to-moment gameplay. Hands-on demonstrations are particularly useful for new mobile properties because screenshots and trailers often reveal little about touch controls, progression speed or session structure.

Level-5 is sharing the show floor with numerous major Japanese and international publishers this week, so giving Pufflings a playable build should help the relatively new IP stand out. Additional launch details are expected as its development campaign continues.
