Diablo Immortal is receiving another substantial content update as Blizzard continues the Nation of Agony storyline. The new Made to Suffer quest pushes players deeper into Lut Gholein and opens the High Ward area while introducing additional activities, rewards and equipment progression. Players can earn a new weekly currency that can be exchanged for legendary equipment and Sacred Chests.
The patch also expands Hero's Journey, allows the Bloodied Jewel quest to be replayed and refreshes Battleground content with mechanics tied to the Nephalem theme. Item hunters receive two new gems, including the five-star Enigma Latera and two-star Prong Crag, while normal gems gain a progressive upgrade system closer to that used by legendary gems. New legendary equipment is also being introduced through Twisting Torments.
