Transformers: Eternal War Launches Globally on Mobile

Transformers: Eternal War is now available globally on iOS and Android following its September 15 release. Published by Wanda Cinemas Games in partnership with Hasbro, the free-to-play tactical squad RPG features an original story written by veteran Transformers comic writer Simon Furman. Instead of focusing exclusively on the traditional Autobot-versus-Decepticon conflict, Eternal War forces the rival factions to confront the Chaos Legion, a new threat powered by unstable chaos energy.

Battles use five-character formations built around Vanguard, Assault, Firepower, Recon and Support classes. Character traits can interact with those roles to trigger additional synergy bonuses, giving team construction a strategic layer beyond simply collecting powerful characters. Away from combat, players expand facilities aboard the Ark to generate resources and strengthen their roster. The global release follows earlier regional testing in Australia, New Zealand, Singapore and the Philippines.

Eternal War enters a crowded licensed-RPG market but benefits from one of entertainment's most recognisable franchises.
