Everything Is Crab will arrive on iOS and Android on November 24, bringing Odd Dreams Digital's unusual evolutionary roguelike to smartphones following its successful PC debut. Publisher Secret Mode says the game has sold more than 650,000 copies since launching on PC in May. The mobile adaptation introduces redesigned touchscreen controls while retaining the content available in the original edition. Everything Is Crab revolves around creating increasingly bizarre creatures through evolutionary combinations.

Players select characteristics and mutations while attempting to survive encounters with dangerous opponents. Different combinations can produce unexpected abilities and unusual appearances, encouraging experimentation across repeated runs. The central premise draws inspiration from the biological tendency for unrelated creatures to develop crab-like characteristics through evolution.

Naturally, the developers have taken that concept and interpreted it with considerably more enthusiasm than most biology textbooks would consider necessary. The roguelike structure means individual attempts can develop differently, providing opportunities to discover effective combinations rather than relying on a single strategy. Console versions are scheduled to follow on January 26, 2027. Final mobile pricing has not yet been confirmed.
