Creature-collecting adventure Aniimo has received a substantial new update titled Departure with the Wind: Part Two, introducing another region, additional creatures and expanded progression systems. The update became available on October 29, with detailed coverage published on October 30. Its biggest geographical addition is Whisperwake Isles, a collection of four distinct areas featuring different environments and opportunities for exploration.
Players can discover locations including Crescent Bay and the village of Mirrorsea, while additional quests and journal content expand the existing storyline. The update introduces 51 new Aniimo, including different species and variants, creating another considerable collection challenge for dedicated players. Ten new Prismana forms provide additional progression opportunities, with some obtained through regional development activities and others linked to special rewards.
The maximum creature level has increased to seventy, while new advancement assessments allow experienced players to continue strengthening their teams. Competitive players receive Spar, a new real-time four-versus-four duel mode, alongside additional experimental activities. A limited-time event called Vein Abundance also offers further rewards.
Aniimo's growing collection systems illustrate the challenge facing creature-based RPGs: every major update must introduce new discoveries without making existing collections feel immediately obsolete. The latest expansion provides substantial additional content for players already exploring its world. Apparently the developers have concluded that collecting a few dozen magical creatures is insufficient. The sensible solution is to introduce another fifty-one.
