PUBG Mobile 4.4 Hero’s Crown rolls out with Greek mythology chaos
PUBG Mobile’s V4.4 Hero’s Crown update becomes available today, adding Greek-inspired map changes, trials, boss fights and new themed gameplay.
PUBG Mobile’s Version 4.4 Hero’s Crown update is today’s biggest pure live-service drop. The official update notice says the rollout begins without service interruption and should be available by 12 May at 11:00 UTC. The update leans into Greek mythology, transforming parts of Erangel into ancient-themed areas and adding new trial-style gameplay.
Yasnaya Polyana, Ruins, Ferry Pier and Mylta receive themed changes, while Hero’s Crown mode adds a more dramatic hot-drop structure around trials, special rewards and boss-style encounters. This is the kind of update PUBG Mobile does best when it works: take the familiar battleground, make it temporarily ridiculous and give players a reason to rethink rotations, landing zones and mid-match priorities. The Blue Lock collaboration is still scheduled as a separate crossover later in May, so V4.
4 should have enough runway to keep the May calendar busy.
